From Sally Ward: I am sorry to report that Steve passed away in 2012. He was exposed to agent orange during his tour of duty in Vietnam and he developed cancer as a result. Malcolm [Wesselink] and he were very good friends through high school and beyond. His ashes are interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

Steve and I were good friends at BCC. I'll always remember he would pick me up in his Falcon on football game days and we had breakfast before the game at the Hot Shoppes on Wisconson Ave. We were in touch for a while after BCC but lost touch in about 1971.
