I agree. They don't come much better than Gail. I was deeply saddened and shocked. I didn't know she had been sick. A very sweet and deep person.....I still remember meeting her at Leland. I think it was in gym class.
This one hits me hard, even though I've had no relationship with Gail since high school. From her awsome turn as Mabel in Pirates of Penzance at Leland, to her participation in our high school pot luck group, she was quietly there with a huge heart, some real grit, enthusiasm intelligence, and humor. I believe hers was a life well-lived.
Sherry, I agree with you! I was so sad when I saw that Gail had passed. We had not been in touch for a long time, but she was my maid of honor when I married in 1971. So many good memories - including Pirates of Penzance! She was a special person in my life and I know she will be missed by her family and friends.
