Classmate Thomas Terlizzi sends us news about his friend and colleague, Eric Petiprin:

I found an obituary today for Eric Petiprin --- BCC Varsity Football. He passed away in 2023 in Florida. I found it because I was looking up old Navy shipmates. I had not seen Eric since he was assigned as an Intelligence Officer to a squadron onboard USS America, and I was, as the senior Intelligence Officer, technically his boss. This was very strange because we were the same age, but I had been in the Navy over 20 years by then (1990), and he was just starting his Navy career after teaching Geography in college. It was strange to have him salute me and call me sir! We lost touch but he retired as a Lieutenant Commander and served in similar jobs to mine, such as Imagery Analysis. Such a nice gentleman. He leaves 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
