Since BCC graduation, I got a BS from MIT (in physics), a PhD from Stanford (in biology), post-doc'ed at the NIH and at Carnegie Institution and then joined the faculty of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, from which I officially retired last year (and will really step down when my last graduate student graduates later this year). Although the lab, research, grad students and post docs were very rewarding, securing NIH research grants became such a drag that it is great to be retired. But "retired" should be in quotes because with lots of environmental and cvic efforts, I am busier than ever now. For 43 years, I have been married to Denis and we have one daughter, Lisa, now a clinical therapist is Sweden. We live on a small farm in Laurel, with four horses in the back years and a crazy dog who shares the waterbed. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
