OUR 60th REUNION WAS A BIG SUCCESS!
THANK YOU!
The 60th Reunion Committee would like to thank all of you who attended our recent 60th Reunion weekend celebration on June 26th & 27th and made it such a wonderful event. It started with a large turnout for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres Friday night at Clyde’s, many of whom then went on to see Mark Wenner and The Nighthawks at Hank Dietle’s Tavern. There were almost 90 participants for the Saturday night dinner and party at Kenwood Country Club. The food was fantastic and it appeared that everyone had a great time seeing old friends and making some new memories. Later in the evening there were even some old people dancing to the 60s music provided by the DJ.
For those of you who came, all of the photos of the Saturday night event are now up on this website under B-CC Reunion Photos on the left and can be viewed after signing in here. There are two groups of photos; ones taken by Mike Skinker under “Mike’s 60th Photos” and ones taken by the professional photographer under “60th Reunion.” The photos include the names of those people featured in the photo. You simply have to hold the cursor over the photo and it will display the name. If you click on the photos and play them as a slide show, the names of those depicted in the photo will display below the picture.
The photos taken by the photographer are also available to download for FREE from the SmugMug site at: https://eventdigital.smugmug.com/BCC-Class-of-1966 .
Just click on the photo that says “BCC Class of 1966” and it will open to all of the photographer’s photos taken Saturday night. You can scroll through all of the photos or view the slide show at the bottom. Also, if you’d like a FREE copy of any of the photos, simply highlight a photo and then select the download arrow on the left. A copy will be sent to your computer.
For those of you who couldn’t make the 60th Reunion, but would like to see some of your old friends who did and how much fun they had, check out the photos. If you’d like to see everyone enjoying themselves at past reunions, there are numerous photos and videos you can check out after signing in here and selecting “40th and 50th Reunion Videos.” Some of the videos are accompanied by some great old tunes from our time at B-CC, including videos that contain images from the Tattler and the 1966 B-CC Yearbook. These videos and photos should bring back some great memories.
By the way, we still have some souvenir 60th Reunion refrigerator magnets left. So, if you came and simply forgot to pick one up or if you didn’t make the Reunion, but would just like one to commemorate the event, let us know. Go to the “Contact Us” section above on the left and give us your mailing address and we’ll be glad to send it out to you.
We encourage you to periodically review your profile on this site and update it as necessary. We, and other classmates, would like to be able to stay in touch.
We hope to see you all of you who attended our 60th again at the next reunion. For those of you who couldn’t make it, you missed a fun weekend. Hopefully, you’ll be able to join us next time.
