NOTICE:
60th Reunion Filing Deadline Extended!
The original filing deadline of May 8th is being extended until June 1st in order to make sure as many classmates as possible have an opportunity to make the necessary arrangements to attend. Many of you who responded to the Questionnaire and indicated that you were going to come to this 60th Reunion still have not sent in your registration form and payment. If you still plan to attend, please register as soon as possible. We need to provide Kenwood and Clyde’s an accurate count as to the number of guests no later than early June in order to determine spacing and food requirements.
Sadly, many of our classmates are no longer with us. If you know of any classmates who have passed away since the 55th Reunion in October 2021, whose names do not appear on the “In Memory” list on this website (see link to left), please let us know by using the “Contact Us” link. We would certainly like to honor them with inclusion on the “Gone But Not Forgotten” poster being prepared for this 60th Reunion.
All of the arrangements for our Reunion weekend have been completed on our end. The details are below. Now it’s up to you. All you have to do is show up to see some old friends, make some new memories, and have fun. So, please submit your registration form and payment as soon as possible.
We all hope to see many of you again at the 60th Reunion this June.

FREE complimentary breakfast is provided 7:30 9:00 am and FREE parking is available at the club. The block of rooms is listed under "BCC 60th Reunion." These rooms are reserved up until the event subject to availability.
We have also reserved a block of rooms at the HYATT REGENCY at One Bethesda Metro Center from June 25-28 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights). The reservation phone number is 1-888-591-1234 or book directly at https://www.hyatt.com/events/en-US/group-booking/BETHE/G-BC60. Single and double room rates are $149 per night (plus taxes). The name associated with the block is "BCC High School 60th Reunion." These reserved rooms at a special price are only available until June 5th.
FRIDAY NIGHT BONUS (you need a separate ticket): As an added bonus and incentive to come to the reunion, our classmate, Mark Wenner, and his band, The Nighthawks, will be performing at Hank Dietle’s Tavern, 11010 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852 that Friday night (June 26th) starting at 9:00 pm. There will be plenty of time to attend the cocktail party at Clyde’s and then make your way to Hank Dietle’s to see The Nighthawks. For those of you who don’t remember, Hank Dietle’s is on Rockville Pike basically across from where White Flint Mall used to be. You may remember it as an old school redneck beer joint, but it has been rebuilt after a fire and is now a serious music venue for both local and national touring bands. The Nighthawks fit both categories.
Here’s a link to the Hank Dietle’s Tavern website where you can check out the event and purchase tickets ($20): https://www.hankdietles.net/. Tickets will also be available at www.Eventbrite.com. However, both sites appear to only list upcoming events approximately two months in advance, so check it out in late April or early May. Tickets may also be purchased at the door depending on availability. You can go to www.TheNighthawks.com to find out more information about Mark’s band. If you have any further questions about the event, you can contact Bill Wax at BillWax6@gmail.com.
